My initial idea generation process consisted of some paper sketches and then photoshop work to generate a digital image, and some fonts/colour schemes. I chose a colour scheme that I feel fit the idea behind the website and the two words, this came out as being a very blue/cyan/purple influenced scheme, which I feel will fit very well in creating a professional looking site as if I use a white background, a lilac type purple or a light blue will compliment the white nicely.
My logo/font choices are more gaming oriented, I took a picture of a famous sword from a video game, edited it to remove the runes on the blade and replaced it with the writing 'Tron Matrix', this should fit the style nicely, as I recoloured the weapon to also fit the colour scheme, all in all I think the initial idea generation went well.
However I was not happy with this logo, and created a new one, as I felt that the size of it was too vertical and didn't look as good as I was expecting. For this reason I created a much more simple logo that was not as gaming related, but worked as a more appropriate business logo. I used the Angel of Blood font with a glow and a drop shadow on top of a paint stroke which looked near professional because of it's simplicity.
The final image was a concept that I decided not to use as a block colour would not look as good for a logo, it could maybe be used as a banner however.
